IB Connect is a business communication platform that allows authenticated sales users to connect their own Gmail account and send email messages or email campaigns from the IB Connect dashboard.
This Privacy Policy explains how IB Connect handles Google user data when users connect their Gmail account to the application.
2. Google Data We Access
When a user connects Gmail, IB Connect may access limited Google account information required for authentication and email sending.
- Google account email address
- Google account name
- Google account profile image, if available
- OAuth access token and refresh token
- Email sending status and delivery logs generated by IB Connect
3. Gmail Permission Used
IB Connect uses the following Gmail API permission:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send
This permission is used only to send email messages requested by the authenticated user from the IB Connect dashboard.
4. How We Use Google User Data
Google user data is used only for the following purposes:
- To connect a user's Gmail account to IB Connect
- To show the connected Gmail account inside the dashboard
- To send email messages or campaigns from the connected Gmail account
- To store email sending logs for reporting and troubleshooting
- To allow users to disconnect their Gmail account from IB Connect
5. What We Do Not Do
IB Connect does not:
- Read Gmail inbox messages
- Read Gmail contacts
- Modify or delete Gmail messages
- Use Google user data for advertising
- Sell Google user data to third parties
- Share Google user data without user permission
6. Data Storage and Security
OAuth tokens are stored securely in the IB Connect database and are protected using encryption where applicable. Access to this data is limited to authorized system processes required to provide the Gmail sending feature.
7. Data Sharing
IB Connect does not sell, rent, or trade Google user data. Google user data is not shared with third parties except when required by law or necessary to provide the requested service.
8. User Control and Disconnect
Users can disconnect their Gmail account at any time from the IB Connect dashboard. After disconnecting, IB Connect will no longer use the Gmail account to send emails.
Users may also revoke access directly from their Google Account security settings.
9. Data Retention
IB Connect keeps email sending logs for operational, reporting, and troubleshooting purposes. OAuth tokens are no longer used after the Gmail account is disconnected.
